Arizer Solo III Review (2026): The Flavor Portable, Finally Fast
The Solo was always the portable that tasted best and made you wait for it. The Solo III keeps the glass and kills the wait.

What it is
Arizer's flagship portable. A cylindrical body with a ceramic hybrid heater in the top, into which you drop a glass aroma tube: a straight or bent glass stem with a bowl on one end that holds about half a gram and a mouthpiece on the other. Two removable 21700 batteries, a digital display with temperature from 50 to 220 °C, USB-C power-delivery charging, session and on-demand modes, and a heat-up Arizer rates at five to fifteen seconds. Tubes fit 14 mm and 19 mm glass if you want to run it through water.
The glass is why you buy it
Vapor travels from the herb through nothing but glass to your mouth. No plastic cooling unit, no silicone, no metal. The result is the cleanest flavor of any portable we've used, at any temperature. Low-temperature sessions taste like the strain; high-temperature sessions taste like the strain, hotter. If you've only used conduction pocket vapes, the difference is not subtle.
What the III fixed
The original Solo and Solo II took a minute or more to reach temperature and had a fixed internal battery. The III's heat-up of seconds, not a minute, changes how you use it: it's an on-demand device now, not a session device you plan around. The 21700 batteries are user-replaceable, so a dead battery in year three is a $15 fix instead of a new vaporizer, and run time per charge is long enough that you'll rarely think about it.
What's wrong with it
It's big, closer to a Mighty than a PAX, and the glass stem sticks out of the top when loaded, so it doesn't pocket well and it isn't discreet. The stems break if you drop them; buy a spare. The bowl is a straight tube, so it packs and cleans a little less conveniently than a proper oven. And vapor density, while good, doesn't reach the Mighty's; this is a flavor device before it's a cloud device.
Who should buy it
Anyone who ranks taste first and carries a bag. Anyone who wants replaceable batteries in a portable, which almost nobody else offers. Arizer Solo III at Cannabox, $249.
