What it is
The Crafty+ is the Mighty's little sibling: same hybrid heater, same style of cooling unit, same vapor, in a body that fits a large pocket, with one battery instead of two and no display. You set the temperature in the S&B app or use the one preset and boost temperature on the device. It charges over USB-C and heats in about a minute.
How it vapes
Like a Mighty. That's not a figure of speech; the chamber and cooling unit are the same design, and side by side the vapor is the same density and temperature. Where the Crafty+ falls behind is stamina: about an hour of continuous use per charge against the Mighty's ninety minutes, and the smaller body runs warmer in the hand after a long session.
The app question
You need the phone to set an exact temperature. The device itself has one stored temperature plus a boost, so in practice most owners set their two preferred temperatures once and never open the app again. If the idea of a vaporizer that needs an app offends you, and it's a reasonable thing to be offended by, the Mighty+ has buttons.
What's wrong with it
Battery life, the app dependence, and a body that's still plastic. Otherwise it's an S&B and the complaints are the S&B complaints: fiddly cooling unit, needs regular cleaning.
