Puffco Peak Review (2026): The Right Rig for Most People
Puffco brought the original Peak back in 2024 as a simpler, cheaper rig. For most people it is the one to buy.

| Pick | Why | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Puffco Peak Verdict: 4 / 5 | Most of the Pro's hit, half the price, no app. | $219.99 | |
| Puffco Peak Pro The upgrade | If you want exact temperatures and the 3D XL chamber. Review. | $419.99 |
What changed
The original Peak from 2018 was discontinued when the Pro took over, then came back in 2024 as a redesigned rig at a lower price. The new version keeps the shape and the idea: a base, a chamber, glass with water, four heat settings, a button. It drops the app, the wireless charging, and the 3D chamber system in favor of its own atomizer, and it costs $219.99 against the Pro's $419.99.
How it hits
Well. The four presets run from a low-temperature flavor hit to a high setting that clears a big dab, and sesh mode holds the heat for a group. Against the Pro side by side, the Pro's chamber is more even at the low end and the app lets you dial in between the presets. In normal use, most people can't tell which one they hit off. That's the point of the product.
What you give up
Exact temperature control. On the Peak you pick one of four; on the Pro you pick a number. If you've never had a number, you won't miss it. The Peak also can't use the 3D XL chamber or the Pro's accessories, so the upgrade path is a new rig, not a new part. And there's no dock; you plug it in.
Ownership cost
Lower than the Pro's. The Peak's atomizer is cheaper to replace than a 3D chamber, and there's less to go wrong. Cannabox customers rate it 4.7 with more than two hundred sold, which for an e-rig is a good sign about reliability.
Who should buy it
Anyone buying their first electric rig, anyone who dabs a few times a week rather than daily, and anyone for whom the Pro's price is the thing stopping them. If you already know you want to set temperatures to the degree, skip to the Pro.
